The shepherd pie is absolutely amazing. Real homemade goodness. A great selection of beers for almost any palate. The bar tender, Paul knows his business like nobody else and is a really good, interesting guy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable about just about any subject you want to talk about, especially beers. Real down to earth guy. The ambience can change depending on time of day but is always fun. I whole heartedly recommend the place, especially if you are visitor to STL.

Top 5 places I've eaten, period. Eric was an exceptional waiter. We never typically follow suggestions or recommendations, but we trusted his opinion and apps, drinks, and dessert, and we were absolutely shocked. Ribs were tender AND crispy?! The poutine was the best we've tried. Do not get me started on the sticky toffee pudding. We never get dessert, but we are traveling and thought, "why not?" and we will never leave without getting it. World class, every aspect.

Okay. I’ll say I’m not a beer person, but I love me a brewery! This was one was wonderful and our beer/bartender was soo nice and helpful. I tried samples of the raspberry (it was very light on raspberry), pumpkin ale (dessert in your mouth!), vanilla pumpkin ale (the original is better), and cider (very nice and refreshing)! The sample size was enough for me to enjoy what I needed. I can’t imagine drinking a full glass of beer! I’m a cocktail girlie… and behold, I ordered and g and t, fabulous! This is a nice place to drinks and food. My friend had a delicious pretzel with a slightly spicy mustard sauce. My other friend got the wings which she liked but a lot for one person. Def check it out! :)

Eric was an incredible server! Everything he recommended was fire! This is a must have if you come to Saint Louis! Try the Raspberry Hefeweizen, it's soooo good. Everything was impeccable and vibes were top notch.

We've been here a few times and the food never disappoints. I've tried the Cuban and I have to say this is the best Cuban I've found by far in or around Saint Louis.... and I have tried many Cubans at many places, none of them are even close to being this good. Yeagerschnitzel was equally very tasty, the pork was tender and lightly cooked. I usually don't like mushrooms in my gravy but in this case it was delicious and enhanced the flavors. Others with us tried the ribs more than once, they said they were tender and mouthwatering. Each meal was very filling and we each had leftovers. Our server recognized us and she was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We went for lunch during the week, and it was not overly crowded. It was a very large place with lots of seating and I'd bet it gets crowded. The atmosphere seems fun lively and energetic...I bet, especially come evening and weekends. It's very close to the Soccer Stadium so I'm sure they get busy the days the team is playing. There was a large selection of specialty beers, outside seating, a small store where you can purchase a memento or a case of your favorite specialty beer, with plenty of parking. It's one of our favorite places to eat while we're visiting the city and we will return. I recommend you do to of you're in the area.

We had a wonderful lunch on our way through St. Louis. The space is beautiful and open. Our waiter, Eric, was knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. The Reuben was out of this world, and my bang mi was flavorful and huge. The beers were all delicious. My favorite was the oatmeal stout. Highly recommend a stop here!

This place has a GREAT atmosphere! Definitely the highlight, plus a cool history as well. The food was good, not the absolute best but we liked it. Biggest issue was everything being a tad too salty for my liking, although I don't love a ton of salt so for others it'd be perfectly fine. We had the schnitzel which was a big helping and was pretty good and the sausage platter.
